From The Pastor’s Desk

Due to the pandemic, we have not had a fully open service since March 8, 2020. We had to adjust by streaming our services online, limiting the number of people in the sanctuary, registering in advance for services, social distancing and mask wearing in the church. We said that we would have to continue our “new normal” until there was a viable vaccine available and NYC COVID-19 guidelines were changed. Since restrictions on the number of people allowed in the sanctuary have been lifted, we are now able to invite everyone back to the church for Sunday morning service, beginning July 4, 2021 @ 11:30 AM – HALLELUJAH! We will continue to stream our Sunday morning service live at 11:30 am (available on YouTube and Facebook). We will also continue our “Triumphant Tuesdays” prayer line on Tuesday nights at 7:15 pm and our Sunday School classes will remain virtual, until further notice.

We are following CDC guidelines for safe indoor gatherings on Sundays. Everyone 12 and older must show proof of full vaccination (at least two weeks after your final dose) and a valid ID. Everyone 2 years and older (who is not fully vaccinated) must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test (not a rapid test) within 72 hours of the service. Main sanctuary seating will be for fully vaccinated persons only (masks are optional). Annex seating is reserved for unvaccinated persons, where masks must be worn at all times and social distancing is observed. The “Black Gate” entrance will be open from 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM. Temperatures will be taken at the door, so please stay home if you are ill. After service, the annex will exit via the Washington Ave. side of the church and the main sanctuary will exit via the East Tremont Ave. exit(s).
